A system should not limit itself to storing the result.
It should also preserve enough context to understand how we got there.
What changed.
Who decided.
With which information.
Which rule was applied.
What remained pending.
When that memory lives in chats, emails, and one person's head, the operation depends on someone remembering where to look.
AI can help find, summarize, and connect that history.
But it cannot assume accountability for the decision.
For me, the division is becoming clearer:
The system keeps the record.
AI manages the context.
A person decides and is accountable for the decision.
The value is not in having more screens or more automatic answers.
It is in preventing human judgment from working blind.
