When a system fails, no one accepts this answer:
The artificial intelligence decided.
The customer did not hire a model.
The customer hired an organization.
And inside that organization, a person must be accountable for the decision.
We can delegate analysis.
We can delegate generation.
We can automate much of the execution.
What we cannot delegate is accountability.
The more work an AI produces, the clearer it should be who validates the result and by which criteria.
I am not concerned that a machine can propose one hundred alternatives.
I am concerned when no person can explain why one was chosen.
The final signature remains human.
