At the end of the year, the question always comes up: what comes next for software?

I do not think the answer lies in a list of tools. I am interested in looking at which problems are worth solving better and how work changes as new capabilities emerge.

An organization does not change simply by adopting technology. It changes when it revisits how decisions are made, how work flows, and what responsibility each person retains.

Next year, I want to keep thinking about that relationship between software, artificial intelligence, and real work. Without chasing every new development, but without dismissing it before understanding what it might make possible.

I do not have a product prediction. I have a question I want to carry with me: what could we do better if we redesigned the work instead of just adding tools?
