If I discovered tomorrow that my entire team was using artificial intelligence, I would not start by banning tools.

I would not start by buying more licenses either.

First, I would try to understand the work already taking place.

During the first few days, I would ask what they use, what they use it for, and what information they share.

Not to find someone to blame.

To make visible a decision the organization has already begun to make.

Then I would separate everyday uses from those that may affect data, customers, contracts, or important decisions.

I would choose one real process and observe it from beginning to end.

I would measure how long it takes today, where it fails, and how much human effort it requires.

Only then would I decide what to allow, what to review, and what to stop.

The first 30 days should not be used to deploy AI across the entire company.

They should be used to learn how to adopt it without losing control.

Understand first.

Then scale.
